Paella LabFluffy Seal Privacy Policy

Fluffy Seal (“the App”) is an iPhone app provided by Paella Lab (ぱえりあラボ) (“the Developer”). This policy describes how the App handles information.
1. Information the Developer collects
The Developer does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, address, or location. The App has no servers run by the Developer, and there is no account registration.
2. Information stored on your iPhone
To let you play, the App stores the following information on your iPhone. It is never sent to the Developer.
- Your progress with the seal, such as its friendship, mood, personality, coat pattern, name, birthday, and the days you’ve spent together
- Photos taken in the App (up to the 100 most recent)
- Settings such as sound, vibration, and notifications, and the number of times “Today’s special” has been used
You can delete this information with Menu → Reset Data in the App, or by deleting the App (photos can be deleted from Memories).
3. iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, the App saves a copy of the progress described in section 2 to your own iCloud (a service of Apple) and keeps it in sync with your other devices on the same Apple Account. The Developer cannot see this copy. Photos are not sent to iCloud. Resetting your data also deletes the copy in iCloud.
4. Photos
The App saves a photo to Photos only when you tap “Save to Photos.” For this, it may ask for permission to add to your photo library. The App never reads the contents of your photo library. When you share a photo, it is sent only to the destination you choose.
5. Notifications
Notifications are only scheduled on your iPhone (special days, good morning and good night, and so on). No information is sent outside your iPhone for notifications.
6. In-app purchases
Purchases of the Expansion Pack are handled by Apple’s App Store. The Developer does not receive your payment information. The App only checks with Apple whether you own the Expansion Pack.
7. Ads (Google AdMob)
The App shows video ads from AdMob, an advertising service of Google LLC, only when you choose to watch a video for “Today’s special” in Food. To show ads, a component from Google (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) may send information such as the following to Google.
- IP address (to estimate your general location)
- Information about your device and the App, and identifiers for advertising (including identifiers specific to an app or developer)
- Ads you have seen and your interactions with them
- Information about how the App runs and about crashes
The App does not ask for permission to track you across apps (tracking). Therefore, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages. If you own the Expansion Pack, no ads are shown.

8. Analytics
The App does not use any components for analytics.
9. Use by children
The App can be played by anyone. If a child is playing, we ask a parent or guardian to check the in-app purchases and ads together with them.

If this policy changes, the change will be announced on this page.
